Vánoce Brno (Brno Christmas)
The romantic Zelní trh (Vegetable Market) with its central, Baroque, seasonally illuminated Parnassus fountain, Ditrichštejnský Palace (Dietrichstein Palace) and Reduta Theatre is cherished for its enchanting atmosphere, and a Christmas market only adds to its charms. Here, too, you’ll find a Christmas tree, a stage hosting a cultural programme, and a large quantity of stalls.
The actual number of stalls will be 110, and they’ll be showcasing wares and handicrafts that have typified this venue over the years. Some will even offer a glimpse of the artisans at work, and kids will love the unique children’s village, made of fallen tree trunks.
Children’s village
The children’s village takes up an impressive 600 m2 and is free to enter. Here, there’ll be fun for younger and older kids. Adults benefit too –from an opportunity to absorb the urban spectacle while sipping a warm punch.
Parnassus
The Baroque Parnassus fountain, Vegetable Market’s dominant feature, will be festively illuminated for visitors during the Christmas market season. The lighting design is the work of the VISUALOVE team.
