What instruments make up its colorful world, who calls the shots, and who, on the other hand, patiently waits for their big moment? And can a musician in the orchestra just sit wherever they please?

And this year, you don’t have to stay just as listeners! We invite you to join forces with our orchestra: young listeners can prepare together with their teachers, and adults can dust off their instruments. Let’s experience that unique feeling together—being part of an orchestra.

The Pedals in the spotlight

Some instruments in the orchestra tend to stay somewhat in the background. Not because they’re less important—quite the opposite! They simply don’t form large sections like the strings or the winds. This makes every note, every entrance, and every timbre stand out all the more. Each of these instruments brings its own unique world to the orchestra—from the majestic sound of the organ, through the brilliant piano and the shimmering celesta, to the dreamy and magical harp.

When does their moment to shine arrive? How does their sound blend with the entire orchestra? And why is a single instrument sometimes enough to transform the atmosphere of an entire composition?

Come see for yourself that even a single instrument can sometimes say more than an entire orchestra.

All audience members who have played in previous concerts are welcome to perform alongside the orchestra. In fact, everyone who is learning or has ever learned to play a musical instrument will take the stage.
