A one-day cultural event bringing together Ukrainian art, music and conversation, organised by the Brno-based NGO World Bridge Initiatives.
The programme opens with an exhibition of collage, animation, photography and film by Ukrainian artists, on home, memory and displacement. During the afternoon, artist Anna Medvetska leads an open collage workshop based on the art therapy method she developed with Ukrainian child refugees. The evening continues with the performance “Hardened” by Bohdan Iakymets, a moderated talk with the artists and guests from Koridor UA, and closes with a concert by Horovod UA, a band travelling from Bratislava with a programme of Ukrainian songs.
The event is a fundraiser. All proceeds go towards equipping a school in a frontline region of Ukraine, through Koridor UA and the student initiative Schools for Victory.
